Rachel Perkins is an award-winning illustrator whose clients include Barnes & Noble Classics, the New York Times, the Christian Science Monitor, the University of Chicago, and Columbia University. She was born in Vancouver, Canada; grew up in the high desert of Eastern Oregon; graduated at the top of her high school class in Cave Junction, Oregon; earned degrees from Reed College and the Pacific Northwest College of Art; and now lives in New York City with her husband, who studies Yiddish.
